Album Info:Photos taken along Norfolk Southern's Southern Tier Line. The Southern Tier line runs between Suffern, New York and Buffalo, New York. Norfolk Southern leases out the lower portion between Suffern and Port Jervis to MTA Metro North Railroad and operated by New Jersey Transit and from Port Jervis to Binghamton to New York Susquehanna and Western. Photos of those two railroads are in separate albums. The main portion in use by NS is between Binghamton and Buffalo. The Southern Tier was once the Erie Railroad's main line.
